M87 Gear Suite uses Lemon Squeezy license keys for payment entitlement and an M87 signed local entitlement after activation.
What does Tier 2 unlock?
Tier 2 Mesh unlocks OBJ and STL mesh exports plus additive manufacturing material presets. SVG, DXF, datasheet export, and the basic material preset remain available without a paid license.
What does Tier 3 unlock?
Tier 3 Solid includes Tier 2 features and unlocks STEP solid export, the Tier 3 tolerance validation panel, all material presets, and metal/industry presets.
How does activation work?
After checkout, Lemon Squeezy provides a license key. In M87 Gear Suite, open Licensing, choose Verify License, enter the purchase email and license key, and activate. Internet access is required for activation. After successful activation, a signed local entitlement is stored for that browser, PWA, or desktop app profile.
Can I work offline?
Yes. Activation requires internet access, but a previously verified license remains available offline in the same local profile. The Windows desktop app also keeps an encrypted same-device license vault so portable app updates can restore the license on the same Windows account. Paid desktop exports still revalidate online before use.
What if I change computers or browsers?
Use Deactivate Workstation from the Licensing menu before moving when possible. Then activate again on the new browser, PWA, or desktop app with the same purchase email and Lemon Squeezy license key. Web, PWA, Windows desktop, and test desktop builds each keep separate local storage.
How do I claim paid Discord roles?
After activating a Tier 2 or Tier 3 Lemon Squeezy license in M87 Gear Suite, join the official Discord server, then use Licensing > Claim Discord Role inside the workbench. M87 verifies the existing license and uses Discord sign-in only to identify your Discord account. Do not post license keys in Discord.
Are purchases refundable?
NO-REFUND POLICY: all paid licenses provide immediate access to digital software, license activation, and export capabilities. Purchases are final except where required by law. Review the refund policy before checkout.
Can I use exports commercially?
Yes, generated exports may be used in your own personal or commercial design work. You remain responsible for validating the gear design, materials, tolerances, manufacturing method, and application safety before production use.
What should I send for support?
Send the purchase email, license tier, browser/OS, export format, target CAD/CAM/slicer app, and gear parameters or saved profile JSON. Use the support page for contact links.
